Exness Review 2026

Exness is the broker we partner with at Danipips. This review sticks to facts we can verify — the entities it is regulated under, what a trade actually costs, the leverage tiers and how fast money comes back out. No star ratings, no invented test results.

Who it suits

Beginner-to-intermediate traders working through the Danipips academy: there is no minimum deposit on Standard accounts, withdrawals are free, and you can size positions small while you learn.

Who it does not

US retail clients are not onboarded. Traders who want the tightest possible regulatory protection should also note that most retail accounts sit under the Seychelles or South Africa entities, not the FCA one.

Standard vs Raw Spread / Zero

The only difference that matters day to day is how you pay. On a Standard account the cost is inside the spread and there is no separate commission, which keeps the maths simple and the entry barrier at zero. On Raw Spread and Zero accounts the spread starts at 0.0 pips and you pay a commission instead, which only works out cheaper once you trade enough volume for the tighter spread to cover that commission.

If you are still learning position sizing, start on Standard. Switch only when you can show, from your own trade log, that your average spread cost exceeds what commission would have cost you.

A worked cost example

Take 0.10 lots of EURUSD. One pip on a 0.10 lot is about $1. If your Standard account fills at a 1.0 pip spread, the round-trip cost is roughly $1. On Raw Spread with a 0.1 pip spread you pay about $0.10 of spread plus the account's commission — cheaper only if that commission lands under $0.90 for the same 0.10 lots.

Run your own numbers with the pip value calculator and size the trade with the position size calculator before you compare account types.

How to open an Exness account

  1. 1. Register with your email and set a password.
  2. 2. Choose your country of residence — this decides which entity and leverage cap apply to you.
  3. 3. Complete identity verification with a government ID and a proof of address.
  4. 4. Create a demo account first and trade it until your position sizing is automatic.
  5. 5. Create a live Standard account, fund it with an amount you can afford to lose, and start at the smallest lot size.

Frequently asked questions

Is Exness regulated?

Yes. Exness holds licences with the FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus), the FSA in Seychelles, the FSCA in South Africa and CBCS in Curaçao. Which entity you trade under depends on your country of residence, and most retail clients are onboarded under the Seychelles or South Africa entities.

Does Exness charge withdrawal fees?

Exness does not charge a withdrawal fee. Your payment provider or bank may still apply its own charge. E-wallet withdrawals typically process within minutes, while bank card and wire transfers usually take 3 to 5 business days.

What leverage does Exness offer?

Up to 1:2000 on the Seychelles entity for accounts under $1,000 equity, stepping down as your equity grows. Under the FCA and CySEC entities retail leverage is capped at 1:30. High leverage increases risk as much as it increases position size.

How do I open an Exness demo account?

Register with your email, verify it, and choose 'Demo' when creating your first trading account. A demo runs on the same platforms and pricing as a live account, so you can practise the position sizing you learn in the Danipips academy without risking money.

What is the minimum deposit on Exness?

There is no minimum deposit on Standard accounts — you fund whatever your payment method allows. Raw Spread and Zero accounts require a larger starting balance and suit traders who place enough volume for the lower spread to outweigh the commission.

Can US traders open an Exness account?

No. Exness does not onboard US retail clients. If you are based in the United States you will need a broker registered with the CFTC and NFA instead.

Risk & affiliate disclosure

Trading on margin carries a high level of risk and you could lose some or all of your initial investment. Nothing here is financial advice. Danipips is not a broker and does not accept deposits. Links to Exness are affiliate links; we may earn a commission if you open an account, which does not affect what you pay.
