Trading Calculators
Three calculators every beginner needs: what a pip is worth, how big your position should be, and what a trade actually made or lost.
Pip Value Calculator
How much one pip of movement is worth on your position.
Pip value
USD 1.00
Each pip of movement on 0.1 lots of EURUSD changes your balance by about USD 1.00.
What pip value means
A pip is the smallest standard price step for an instrument — 0.0001 for EURUSD. Pip value tells you the cash impact of that step. It is the number that turns "my stop is 30 pips away" into "this trade risks real money", so every position size decision starts here.
One standard lot = 100,000 units, priced in USD.

Recommended lot size
0.03
Risking USD 10.00 (1% of USD 1,000.00) over a 30-pip stop. Exact size 0.033 lots — always round down.
Why position sizing matters
Position size — not leverage, not the entry signal — decides how much a losing trade costs you. Fixing your risk at 1–2% per trade means an ordinary run of six losses is a dent, not a disaster. Size the trade to the stop; never shrink the stop to fit the size you wanted.

Estimated profit
USD 0.0000
+0.0 pips on a long EURUSD position of 0.10 lots.
Reading the result
A buy profits when the exit price is above entry; a sell profits when it is below. This estimate excludes spread, commission and overnight swap, so your real result will be slightly lower.

Results are estimates for education only. Conversion rates used for non-USD account currencies are indicative, and your broker's contract sizes, swaps and commissions may differ. Always confirm figures in your trading platform before placing a trade.
